		<description>Tom, I couldn't agree more.  That little-advertized battle (not even discussed in Texas History classes in Southeast Texas public schools, at least not when I was in school) was a stunning victory for the South.

But good luck.  Talk about -- and movies about -- Confederate victories (not to mention what really drove the men in grey to fight) would take us all a step closer to framing the "Civil War" as what it was: the War of Northern Aggression.  If that could happen, then maybe States' rights aren't just a topic for history class.</description>
