The problem here is that they didn’t actually get jailtime; just house arrest, community service, and probation. If the threat of actual time as a guest of the state doesn’t dissuade the Koslowskis, Lays, etc., of the world, do you think an ankle bracelet will?

What a joke. Of course, the prosecutors couldn’t find any case of the employers doing jail time. Nobody ever has. THAT might get somebody’s attention, together with VERY stiff fines (an order of magnitude or two above $200K)
